Matthew T. DeSilva of Cranston Dies at 33

Matthew T. DeSilva, age 33, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Born in Providence, he was a son of Dwayne A. Curtis and Tracy M. DeSilva. Matthew was the brother of Anthony Cosenza, Jaymes Curtis, Janice Cosenza, Jewelleen Furlong and Christine Paulino; grandson of Sharon “Tia” Desilva and the late Norma LeBlanc. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews who loved him tremendously.

Matthew loved watching basketball and football, especially the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Cowboys, of which he was an avid fan.

 

He was the best brother and a loving son and grandson. He was always there when his family needed him. Words can’t describe how empty our lives are without him.

 

A visitation will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 3-6PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 6PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
