Michael A. Corveno of East Providence Dies at 83

 

Michael A. Corveno, 83, of East Providence, died on Thursday, October 3rd, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marilyn (DeRencis) Corveno.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edward. E. and Dea (Riccitelli) Corveno, Sr.

A graduate of East Providence High School and the Rhode Island School of Design, Mr. Corveno was a stone setter, who worked alongside his father at Ed-Cor Stone Setting for many years. Michael loved music and enjoyed spinning records as a disc jockey. He was also fond of caddying and enjoyed the camaraderie of the former Metacomet Golf Club.

 

He leaves a sister, Lori L. Marshall of Cranston, and a brother, Edward E. Corveno, Jr. of Riverside; a nephew, Russell Corveno.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Edgewood, on Thursday, October 17th at 10 AM. Burial will be private. Condolences, please visit www.trainorfh.com
