Michael Corcelli Jr., of North Providence Dies at 65
Born in Providence on November 7, 1959, to Theresa (Trapassi) and the late Michael Corcelli Sr., Michael grew up in a large, loving Italian family. His childhood was filled with the kind of joy only a tight-knit community can bring, where cousins were like siblings and neighbors were like family.

Michael had a heart bigger than life itself. He was the kind of man who would do anything for his loved ones. Whether staying up late to help set up a scout camp, fixing things around the house, or taking long drives just to give someone a peaceful moment, he never hesitated. He always went the extra mile to make his wife and family happy. He loved his children deeply and was proud of the people they have become.
Michael lived life with a free spirit. He loved dancing anywhere, anytime. He enjoyed blasting music on long drives, soaking up the sun at the beach, and boating in Narragansett Bay. He felt most alive with the wind in his hair and the water at his feet. The ocean was his peace, and his laughter, energy, and warmth always followed him wherever he went.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sanny Corcelli; his mother, Theresa Corcelli; his sons, Michael and Joseph Corcelli, and his wife Tiffany; his granddaughter, Paisley, along with their soon-to-arrive baby girl; his stepdaughter Zhana Chan; and the mother of his children, Carol Corcelli. He also leaves behind his sister, Brenda Corcelli; nieces Tara Britt (and her son, Torrin), and Talia Reid.
Michael now joins his father, Michael Corcelli Sr., and his beloved daughter, Isabella Corcelli, who were waiting with open arms.
Though his time with us was cut short, his love, laughter, and the way he made life feel lighter will live on in all of us. We will carry his memory with us every time the waves roll in, the music plays, or our hearts feel free, just like his always did.
Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, on Tuesday, July 22nd, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, with words of remembrance from family and friends beginning at 5:15 pm. Burial will be private.
