After 30 years away from home, she and her husband returned to their home area in Hopkinton. Next to her devoted love for her husband and children, Nancy also loved all animals, Rod Stewart (she had to hear at least one of his songs per day), watching golf, and last but definitely not least, spending time with her grandson Matthew.

Through the years, Nancy had been helping at Immaculate Conception Church of Westerly in their kitchen, giving holiday Easter season daily breakfast parties. She also gave celebration parties for newly conferred parish priests. She was also a Mass responsive reader and a member of the “Legion of Mary” club. Due to general health problems, she eventually had to retire from doing what she loved to do. She did however continue to supply communion visits to the homebound after Saturday evening Mass, until the pandemic.

Nancy and her husband Ed were happily married for 65 years.
