Navy Veteran, Robert C. Vanasse, Dies at 89
He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn M. (Grise) Vanasse. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Henry and Rose (Laperche) Vanasse.
Bob was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Bryant College. Bob worked for many years as the personnel manager for Cumberland Farms and more recently he was the proprietor and landlord of many local rental homes and properties. Bob and his late wife, Evelyn were also the proprietors of the former Evelyn’s Mix & Match, Central Ave., Pawtucket. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing golf, breeding and raising flocks of sheep for wool and meat.

Vanasse and his wife, Joanne, of Seekonk; six grandchildren, Angelica, Joseph, Nicholas, Derek, and Danielle Vanasse, and Colleen Harrington; four great-grandchildren, Adelina, Coralie, Marty, and Margaux Vanasse; a brother, Raymond Vanasse and his wife, Betty, of Reading, MA and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Beatrice Brierley and Rose M. Hayden.
Services and burial at Seekonk Cemetery with his late wife will be private.
Flowers and visitation are respectfully omitted.
