Obituary: Denise P. (aRusso) Valletta Passes at 65

Denise P. (aRusso) Valletta, 65, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Angelina G. (Butera) aRusso of Johnston and the late Mayor Ralph R. aRusso.

Denise was the beloved mother of Sarah Pereira and her husband Richard of Johnston, and Michael Valletta of Johnston; cherished grandmother of Angelina Marie and Mia Rose; loving sister of Donna Muto and her husband Gerald of Brunswick, ME, Dennis aRusso and his companion Sharon D’Angelo of East Greenwich, David aRusso and his wife Laurie of Johnston, and Diana Mollicone and her husband Michael of Johnston.  She is also survived by her former husband Alfred J. Valletta of Johnston and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston.

Burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
