Obituary: Manuel L. DeSilva Passes at 64

Manuel L. DeSilva, 64, of Westwood Manor Drive, in Warwick, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. 

Born in Graciosa, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Luzia “Lucy” (Athaide) DeSilva. 

Manny was a self-employed contractor for many years.

He is survived by his four sons: Jeffrey DeSilva of Warwick, James DeSilva of Glocester, Jay DeSilva of Scituate, Justin DeSilva of Mendon, MA, his seven grandchildren, his sons' mother, Mary Ann LeToile of Blackstone, MA and his brothers: Leo Silva of Port St. Lucie, FL and Robert DeSilva of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Henry M. Silva and Alice Cancelliere. 

His funeral service will be held Tuesday evening, March 5th at 6:30 pm in Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4-6: 30 pm.
