Owner of Restaurant La Camilia, Guline (Merdinian) Moukhtarian, Dies at 74

Guline (Merdinian) Moukhtarian, 74, of Seekonk, MA, passed away peacefully at RI Hospital in Providence on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Kevork Moukhtarian. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Garbis and Hasmig (Mikaelian) Merdinian.

Guline owned and operated Restaurant La Camilia in East Providence, RI with her husband Kevork for 32 years before retiring in 2013.

Guline was the devoted mother of Hagop Moukhtarian and his wife Candace of East Providence and Garbis Moukhtarian and his wife Maria and their daughter Amber of Rehoboth, MA; and dear sister of Marlene Vichabian, Maggy Madarentz and the late Gassia Boyadjian.

Visiting hours are Monday, December 13th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. 

Burial will be private.
