Owner of Roy Carpenter Beach, Nancy J. Thoresen (Carpenter) Dies at 75

Nancy J. Thoresen (Carpenter), 75, of Narragansett, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at home.

She was the wife of Robert F. Thoresen for 44 years. Born in Cranston, the daughter of the late Robert and Hope (Blair) Carpenter.

Nancy was the proprietor of Roy Carpenter’s Beach where she enjoyed spending time.

She loved Key West, FL, doing crossword puzzles and all animals especially cats.

Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Robert C. Thoresen and his wife Debralee of North Kingstown and Christa Sisson and her husband Jamison of Wakefield and her grandchildren, Kevin and Lauren McNeil, Christopher Thoresen and Micheal Brownhill.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 3-6 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.

Funeral Services will be private.
