Providence Fire Captain Thomas L. Geremia Jr., of Greenville, Dies at 49

He was the beloved husband of Georgina (Parascandolo) Geremia for 18 years. Born in Cranston, he was the son of Thomas L. Geremia Sr. of Warwick and Rosemarie (Passaretti) Hannagan of Cranston. Thomas was a firefighter for 22 years and was recently promoted to Captain of the Providence Fire Department.
Besides his wife Georgina, he is survived by his two loving sons Michael and Henry Geremia. He was the loving brother of David Geremia (Amy) of Warwick, and the loving uncle of Talia Geremia. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Rob Parascandolo and his brotherhood of firefighters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Dec. 9th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner St., Providence.
Masks will be required.
His visiting hours and burial are respectfully private.
