Providence Fire Fighters Announce Death of Cipriano Illiano, Age 41

The Providence Fire Fighters Local 799 announced the death of union member and Providence Fire Fighter Cipriano Illiano on Monday.

 

He was 41.

“We deeply regret to announce the untimely passing of Brother Firefighter Cipriano Illiano at the age of 41.

 

Cipriano was a proud father and a passionate supporter of the Special Olympics. In his ten years of service as a member of Local 799, “Cip” served on Engine 2, Ladder 6, and most recently on Engine 6.

 

Cip loved and will be missed by many. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and all who knew him during this incredibly difficult time. Arrangements will be announced as they become available,” said Local 799’s president, Michael Foley.
