Providence Teacher Gia M. (Fiore) Noviello Dies at 50

Gia M. (Fiore) Noviello, age 50, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Albert R. Noviello, III. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Gail (Green) Sarafian and Anthony Fiore, Jr.

A beautiful person on the inside and out, Gia was a Rhode Island beauty pageant winner during her younger years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Education from Rhode Island College, and a Master’s Degree in Education from Roger Williams University. Gia was employed by the Providence School Department, Carl G. Lauro Elementary School, where she worked as a Special Education Teacher for over 20 years. She adored her family and cherished spending time with her twin daughters.

 

Gia was the loving mother of Nicole K. Noviello and Natalia M. Noviello; caring sister of Anthony Fiore (wife, Cheryl), Sheila Harper (late husband, Stephen), and Melissa Sousa (husband, Kery). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Her visitation will be held from 3-6 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt. 44), Greenville. Relatives and friends are invited to gather in procession on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 9 am in the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel, Greenville with a Mass and Christian Burial to follow at 10 am in St. Augustine Church 20 Old Rd., Providence, RI 02908. Her burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
