Ret. Pawtucket Police Officer, Navy Vet, Frederick T. Procter, Passes at 88

Frederick T. Procter, 88, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021. 

He was the beloved husband of Phyllis C. (Farran) for sixty-one years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the youngest of eleven children of the late Henry and Ethel (Wilde) Procter.

A retired veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Procter grew up in Central Falls and graduated from Central Falls High School. He worked as a police officer for the city of Pawtucket and retired after nearly thirty years of service.

An avid gardener, Frederick enjoyed tending to his plants, vegetables, and gardens.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two daughters, two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Services and interment in Swan Point Cemetery will be private.

Floral tributes and visitation are respectfully omitted.
