RIDOT Worker Michael Kelly Dies at 42

Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed having daddy-and-daughter dates with his girls. Michael was passionate about playing baseball and softball throughout his life and formed a special brotherhood along the way. He attended CHSE class of 2001 and went on to briefly serve in the United States Navy SEAL Teams in Japan. Michael had a contagious laugh and great sense of humor, he enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, vacationing with his girls and especially being at home.

Aside from his wife and two daughters he leaves behind two sisters Tina Mello and Alicia Blanchette. As well as three brother-in-laws, Wesley Mello, Jay Blanchette, Massimo Calcagni, and his wife, Katlyn (Esposito) Calcagni. He leaves behind three nieces and five nephews who he loved dearly. He is the grandson of Fran Kelly of Coventry and the late John W Kelly Sr., Paul and Shirley Grimes. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael Sean was gone too soon but will forever be remembered and loved by so many.
His funeral will be held on Monday, February 24th, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 8:30-10:00 a.m. Burial and flowers are kindly omitted.
