Sandra Jean (Preziosi) McGrath of Harrisville Dies at 70

Sandra Jean (Preziosi) McGrath, 70, of Harrisville, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. McGrath. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (DeLucia) Preziosi.

 

Sandra worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years at RI Hospital. Her passion was cooking for others, most notably her famous meatballs.

Sandra is survived by her loving daughters, Laurie Ann Frye of Coventry and Casey McGrath of Harrisville; step-son Edmilson Rodrigues; cherished grandson Robert Frye; grand-daughters Ayllah and Aaliyah Rodrigues, dear sister Linda Ide and brother-in-law Dr. Stephen Ide, III, OD, ; and nephews Tyler Brown, Stephen Randall Ide IV, Joseph Ide, Jeremy McGrath, Michael Constantine and sister in law Susan Constantine. She also leaves her dog, Buddy.

 

Her funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 1:00 pm. VISITING HOURS will precede her service from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Burial is private.
