Sean Vincent O’Gorman of Jamestown Dies at 19

For the last few years, he worked during the winters as a snowboarding instructor at Yawgoo Valley Ski resort, where he found time to also volunteer for their Special Olympics snowboard program. He spent the fall of 2023 into 2024 at college, attending James Madison University in Virginia, where he studied Biology, spent time snowboarding and hanging out with friends and the heavy metal music club. Sean loved his hobbies of fishing and snowboarding. He also enjoyed his time as an avid gamer, playing various games with friends from Virginia.

He is survived by his parents, Jon and Cathy, two siblings; Brother Liam, Sister Bevin; his paternal grandfather, John P. O’Gorman of Warwick, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and family who loved him very dearly and will miss him greatly. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Rita and Vincent Saunders and his paternal grandmother Marcelle O’Gorman.
There will be a private service held for the family.
