Sheila Marie Hillman (Baby Bear and Auntie Titta) of Warwick Dies at 42

Sheila was born in Warwick on August 30, 1982, and lived her childhood in West Warwick, RI, where she graduated from WWHS. She was the middle of three children. The minute she arrived home from the hospital, it was clear she had a knack for capturing a room. She was tenacious and marched to the beat of her own drum and there was no point in trying to redirect her. She’d retort with her natural ability to make anything funny and before long, the joke was on her captive audience.

After high school, Sheila went on to complete some college through a CCRI/URI partnership program and completed her certification in cosmetology. But what she was most passionate about was her hobbies, excelling in drawing and art. Her creations were whimsical and decorated all the spaces of her home and the homes of her loved ones.
Sheila worked at a variety of different jobs including Snookers, Elmwood Dodge and Brada Manufacturing. She always loved trying new things and learned quickly.
Sheila was married briefly to Ryan Yeadon in 2021 and is survived by him. She leaves behind her son, Wes Foley, who she shared with her long-term ex-boyfriend, Vic Foley. She is also survived by Wes’s half-siblings, Isaiah and Julian Foley. Sheila’s deepest love was for the children in her life.
Sheila is also survived by her parents, Michele (Nevin) and Gilbert G. Hillman II; her sister, Amber L Hillman and her spouse, Orran M Hardie; and her brother, Kevin M Hillman. She is survived by all her adoring nieces and nephews, Haven Hardie, Piper Hardie, Jericho Hillman, Jocylin Hillman, and Willow Hillman. Sheila is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Ann and David McCusker along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of her family. Sheila is preceded in death by her uncle, Richard A Hillman, her paternal grandparents, Claire L. Hillman and Gilbert G. Hillman I and her cousin, Chelsea V. Hillman.
To say she will be missed by her loved ones is an understatement. Her absence leaves a profound sense of loss for her family, she was one of a kind. She loved those closest to her with immense passion.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, RI from 2-4 p.m. Followed by a memorial gathering at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the North Kingstown Art’s Council, in Sheila’s memory.
Attending summer beach concerts with her family are some of our fondest memories of her; a tradition we would like to continue in her spirit, for years to come.
