Union Fire District of South Kingstown has announced that Battalion Chief Dennis Grande has died.

It is with profound sadness that the Union Fire District announces the sudden passing of Battalion Chief Dennis Grande, a deeply respected and dedicated member of our organization, who passed away earlier this morning.

Battalion Chief Grande honorably served the Town of South Kingstown for over three decades, beginning his distinguished career in 1989 as a member of the Peace Dale Station. His unwavering commitment to public service and his leadership within the department will be remembered with great respect and gratitude.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Chief Grande’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of serving alongside him. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this time of mourning.
