Thomas J. Kennedy of North Kingstown Died at 84

He was the husband of Jean M. (Haun) Kennedy.
Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, a son of the late Thomas J. and Irene (Bouchard) Kennedy, Sr. Mr. Kennedy had lived in North Kingstown for the past twenty years and had previously lived in Warwick for many years. he was an engineer with the state of Rhode Island for eighteen years before retiring in 1987. Tom was a member of the Warwick Knights of Columbus Council 2295. He was a college and High School basketball referee and an umpire for many youth baseball leagues.

Kennedy-Cascella of Warwick. He was the father of the late Kyle J. Kennedy. Seven grandchildren, Jason Winpenny (Angel), Joshua Winpenny (Lauren), Justin Winpenny, Jared Winpenny, Lindsey Desrochers (Justen) Courtney Cascella and Stephanie Cascella (Dylan). Six great-grandchildren, Grayson Winpenny, Arden Winpenny, Alania Winpenny, Alara Winpenny, Ryder Derochers and Trent Derochers. He was the brother of the late Jack Kennedy and Catherine Shepherd.
His funeral will be Saturday at 8:45 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard Church 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown at 10 AM. Calling Hours Friday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice 1184 East Main Road Portsmouth, RI 02871 will be appreciated.
Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
