Veteran, Clement David Letourneau, Dies at 90

Born in Providence to George and Hattie (Sawyer), the 11th of 12 children, he attended La Salle Academy before serving in the Korean War, where his love of the culinary arts commenced; thereafter, many hours were spent in the family kitchen perfecting his craft.
Clement was married to Claire (Payette) for 66 years, until her passing two years ago. They were devout Catholics and made many pilgrimages to the EWTN Ministry in Irondale, Alabama. They also enjoyed hiking with friends, traveling, charitable work, and hockey games.
They were blessed with a steadfast group of friends who remained loyal and close for 80 plus years.
Clement is survived by his sister Jeanne Provençal, and his ten children; Roland (Pamela) Letourneau, Gerald (Elaine) Letourneau, Diane (Gary) Stamp, Denise Letourneau, Annette (David) Olney, Jeanne Malone, Therese Macera, Paul Letourneau, Stephen (Angelica) Letourneau, Bill (Duc) Letourneau, 23 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours omitted. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace in Johnston on Wednesday, February 2 at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
