Veteran Roger A. Fudge Sr. Dies at 79

The enormity of this responsibility allowed Roger to gain the confidence and independence to explore a career in the Navy at age 19, where he also gained his GED. While stationed in Newport, RI, Roger met Barbara and her cousin Maydell at a James Brown concert. He later married Barbara and they had 3 children, Robin Guerra (David), Aleemou Akadeer (Roger A. Fudge II) and Ronda Fudge and Nicole Randolph. In 1991, Barbara and Roger divorced and he continued his career as a Master Carpenter, which he continued through to his retirement at age 62.
Roger continued to exercise his creative talents taking on highly detailed carpentry projects for clients, refurbishing and building furniture. He also took on one of his favorite activities he enjoyed as a teenager with his sister Rosetta and that is dancing! With this, he became a dance instructor all through Rhode Island and was featured in News articles.
