William L. Stamp, Jr., of Hopkinton Dies at 68

William L. Stamp, Jr., 68, of Hopkinton, RI, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, after a brief illness.  Born in Providence, he was the son of Elinor “Joan” (Cady) Stamp of Lady Lake, FL and the late William L. Stamp, Sr.

William was a pipe designer for General Dynamics at Electric Boat and recently retired after 47 years.

He was a self-taught musician, a talented artist, and athlete. He loved his dogs, cars, and guitars.

Besides his mother, he leaves his sisters, Nancy S. Kenyon and her husband Kevin of Wilmington, NC, Joanne S. Packer and her husband Donald of Hanover, MA, and brothers David A. Stamp of San Diego, CA, and Robert M. Stamp and his wife Joanna of Montville, CT; and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service and burial will be private.
