WWII Veteran Americo "Andy" C. Andreano Dies at 101

Americo "Andy" C. Andreano, 101, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Jane (Charbonneau) Andreano. He was born in Providence, RI. He is the son of the late Luigi and Maria (Benedetto) Andreano.

Andy was a toolmaker for many years for Speidel Manufacturing in Providence until retiring.

He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid golfer. He was a Sergeant in the US Army during World War II. He leaves two sons, Frank Andreano and his wife Barbara, and Joseph Andreano, one daughter, Norma Shoukry, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 10:30 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long St, Warwick at 11:30 am, followed by burial with Military Honors at the RI Veteran’s Cemetery in Exeter, RI.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 4 pm-7 pm.
