WWII Veteran Igino G. Pelino of Cranston Dies at 98

Igino G. Pelino, 98, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Anna D. (Licciardi) Pelino for sixty-eight years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Egidio and Maria (Tamburrino) Pelino.

Mr. Pelino served in the U.S. Army during WWII. 

He worked for Leesona for many years before retiring.

He enjoyed playing the lottery and cards.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Anthony G. Pelino and Dawn M. Pelino both of Cranston; and many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Irene Feuti, Angelina Thornton, Timothy, Guido and Fulvio Pelino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence.  His burial with Military Honors will be private.
