WWII Veteran, Paul Rusnak, Dies at 94

Paul Rusnak, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Abbenante) Rusnak and Miriam (Clark) Rusnak. Born in Wendel, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Michael and Veronica (Mayernick) Rusnak.

Mr. Rusnak was a forklift operator for Lessona Corporation for many years before retiring. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

He survived by his children, Michael Rusnak and his wife, Christine, Steven Rusnak, Paula Koch and her husband John and Carol Girelli; a sister, Pauline Hartos; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Michael Rusnak, John Rusnak, Veronica Kobak, Elizabeth Woskobnick, Mary Serback, and Ann Charlton.

Mr. Rusnak's funeral with Military Honors will be private.
