Tameleo was one of Patriarca’s longest serving members of the Providence-based crime family.

In 1967, Tameleo, Raymond L.S. Patriarca, and Jerry Anguilo were charged with the murder of bookmaker Willie Marfeo. Six men were convicted in the murder - Patriarca got 10 years.
