Taveras Unveils Jobs Plan for Providence
Democratic candidate for Providence mayor Angel Taveras unveiled his plan for bringing jobs to Providence yesterday. A key element that makes his approach different is his emphasis on building on the businesses that Providence already has, according to Taveras. In addition to retaining businesses, he says the capital city can still do more to recruit new ones and reform the system so it is easier to do business in Providence.
