Barrington Group Endorses Caprio for Governor

The Barrington Democratic Town Committee has endorsed Frank Caprio for governor, according to his campaign.

The vote marks the seventh town committee endorsement Caprio has received.

“Frank has the experience and background we need in our new governor,” said Anthony Arico, a member of the Barrington Democratic Town Committee. “He has advocated for more transparency in government and he isn't afraid to make tough decisions or take on tough issues like pension reform.”

“Barrington gets it. The East Bay gets it,” Caprio said. “We need new ideas and a new way of doing business so we can make the economy and tax structure in Rhode Island more affordable and competitive so we can continue to raise our families and run our business right here at home.”

The other town committee endorsements have come from Bristol, Foster, North Providence, Smithfield, Exeter, and Johnston.
