Bill Lynch to Call for Term Limits

Democratic Congressional candidate Bill Lynch will call for term limits today in what is the first major policy proposal of his campaign.

“When politicians understand there is an end to their tenure, they will truly be motivated to accomplish the change Rhode Island and America needs. Instead of focusing on building their campaign coffers they will be focused on what truly matters – the needs of the American people,” Lynch said.

The proposal is being unveiled just one day before the first debate among the four Democratic candidates for the First District Congressional seat, which Patrick Kennedy is vacating. Lynch will discuss his proposal at a 10:30 a.m. press conference today at the Burnside Park next to Kennedy Plaza.
