BREAKING NEWS: Patrick Lynch Expected to Drop Out of Race for Governor

Attorney General Patrick Lynch is expected to drop out of the race for governor, according to 630 WPRO, a GoLocalProv media partner.

The news comes about two weeks after the Democratic state party leadership endorsed Frank Caprio over Lynch for governor and the release of fundraising tallies for the second quarter that show Lynch trailing his primary opponent.

Joel Coon, the campaign manager for Lynch, this evening would not comment on the reports that Lynch was bowing out.
