Dear Cranston residents,
Thank you to all of my supporters for coming out to vote in Tuesday’s Primary, and I want to congratulate my opponent. I had a great team of dedicated volunteers who campaigned hard, and we had a lot of fun along the way. Unfortunately, the outcome didn’t go as we had hoped. Thank you to everyone who hosted a sign, walked, and donated funds. I want to also give a special thanks to the Cranston Fire Department – you are a special group of people, and I can’t thank you enough for your steadfast support and belief in me.
I love our city and believe in serving the people, it has been a great joy of mine to be your City Council President, and I look forward to finishing out my term. I am not sure what the future holds for me regarding my civic duty, but in the meantime, I am going to focus on my family and grow my career in the private sector. I love the City of Cranston with all my heart and want to thank you, the Cranston Residents, for allowing me to serve you. It has been my honor. #TeamFarina #FarinaSigningOff #ThankYouCranston #Cranston4ever
