Cicilline Endorsed by RI Association of Fire Chiefs

Congressional candidate David Cicilline has been unanimously endorsed by the Rhode Island Association of Fire Chiefs, his campaign announced today.

“David Cicilline has established himself as a strong advocate for fire and life safety and for robust emergency preparedness in his work as Mayor of Providence over the past eight years,” said Executive Director Richard Susi of the Rhode Island Association of Fire Chiefs. “I know that he will go to Washington and continue to get things done on behalf of hardworking Rhode Islanders who depend on our fire service first responders for their safety and security every day. We need his leadership and vision in Congress.”

As mayor, Cicilline provided funding for advanced life support vehicles, new engines, ladders, and rescues, and annual medical physicals for firefighters, according to his campaign.
