Farina Lands Police Union Endorsement - 2nd Major Union

The Cranston Police Union — International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local #301 — has announced its endorsement of Michael Farina Mayor of the City of Cranston.

The union cited Republican Farina’s efforts "to improve public safety, vision for the future, and continued advocacy for the law enforcement community, and the citizens of Cranston are key reasons" for their endorsement.

Farina has been endorsed by both the Police and Firefighter unions of Cranston.

Farina faces off with fellow councilman Ken Hopkins in the GOP primary. And, former councilor Maria Bucci faces sitting Councilor Steve Stycos in the Democratic primary.
