For Voters in Pawtucket & Providence Council Races Monday Is Last Day for Emergency In-Person Voting

RI Board of Elections is reminding voters in Pawtucket (City Council District 5) and Providence (City Council Ward 15) that Monday is the last day to cast an emergency in-person ballot for the June 8th special election primaries in their respective towns. Emergency in-person ballots can be cast at the respective City Halls until 4:00 PM today.

Tuesday, June 8th, polling locations will be open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 pm for in-person voting. Pawtucket (City Council District 5) and Providence (City Council Ward 15) voters should visit vote.ri.gov to locate their polling place. Voters can also verify polling locations with their local Board of Canvassers.

Finally, secure drop boxes will be available for voters to drop off completed mail ballots at each community's City Hall and at the Board of Elections’ headquarters (2000 Plainfield Pike, Cranston) until 8:00 PM on Jun 8th.
