Glover Joins Block Campaign

Helen Glover, a conservative talk radio host, has joined the campaign team of Republican candidate Ken Block.

“I am very excited about the addition of Helen Glover to our team, " said Block. “She has been a voice of conservative principles and common sense for many years in Rhode Island and has a wealth of experience.  She will be working in several key areas including communications.”

“Ken is running a common sense campaign and is the only candidate with a specific plan to fix Rhode Island,” said Glover. “I especially like the fact that he is not a political insider and also has a plan to reform our state government.  He has always been an advocate for the taxpayers of Rhode Island and was a major force behind the elimination of the master lever.  All this from a private citizen.  Imagine what he’ll do as Governor.”

Glover was a morning drive talk show host at 920 WHJJ for 8 years where she was named by Associated Press as the best talk show host a record 5 times.  Glover was also a cast member on the reality TV show Survivor during its fifth season.  Prior to that, she was a water survival instructor with the U.S. Navy.
