The situation in Central Falls continues to get worse with no end in sight. It is time the state step in and put and end to this ‘one square mile’ city, and get rid of the police, fire, and city hall. Keep in mind the current mayor is under a Federal probe and is never seen in public. Mayor Chuck Moreau is best friends with Attorney General Patrick Lynch, who continues to try and describe Moreau as a “childhood friend.” The problem with the Lynch story is they continue to associate, socialize, and Lynch donated $600 to see his friend get elected. Lynch’s girlfriend worked for the mayor and his sister works in Central Falls. Sounds like more of a political adult friendship, then two kids playing CYO basketball in the 70’s.

- Education Commissioner Deborah Gist paid $10,000 to have a speech written that she had to give to the General assembly. Isn’t that like wearing an Armani suit to shop at a flea market?
- We should sponsor a contest between Pawtucket, Providence, and Lincoln and the loser gets Central Falls.
- 1 in 7 Rhode Islanders are now on foodstamps. What happened to pride? Where have you gone Vince Lombardi?
- PC coach Keno Davis is finding out first hand that every mountain has a deep valley. I am not sure this would be the best time to bring in Marvin Barnes as assistant coach for the friars.
- Keith Stokes of EDC is looking for a new Rhode Island slogan for tourism. Here are a few slogans my listeners came up with on my WPRO radio show:
- Rhode Island. Let us corrupt you.
- Come surf our turf.
- Rhode Islandis clamtastic!
- Take a Rhode trip this summer.
- We’re not happy until you’re not happy.
- Forget the Hyatt, come to Rhode Island and stay at the Wyatt.
- Where the debris meets the sea.
- Rhode Island. The smallest state with the biggest unions.
- The Rhode to adventure.
- So much to do and sea.
- Or maybe change the name of the state to “State of Rhode Island and Providence pensions.”
- Word is PC coach Keno Davis may bring in Vinny Paz to speak with the team to settle them down. Maybe Bruce Sudlun could give them driving lessons.
- Cheers to Rep. Peter Palumbo for having the guts to go forward on the illegal alien bill for Rhode Island.
- Having Said that, there is no place like Rhode Island.
