LIVE ELECTION UPDATE State Rep Candidate Rushed to Hospital 11:09 AM

Democratic state rep candidate Richard Morrison has been rushed to the hospital according to 630 WPRO, a GoLocalProv media partner. Morrison fell and hit his head at Benjamin Church Manor polling station when he was trying to come to the aid of a voter who had fallen.

Morrison beat incumbent Doug Gablinske in the Democratic primary for District 68, which encompasses Bristol and Warren. Gablinske, who was opposed by unions in the primary, is now running as a write-in candidate.
