NEW: Charlestown Democrats Announce New Members

The Charlestown Democratic Town Committee announced the names of its fifteen members for the 2013-2014 term Thursday.

Current Chair Catherine O’Reilly Collette and Vice-Chair Tim Quillen were re-elected to their respective positions. Suzanne Ferrio was elected Secretary, replacing Tom Ferrio who will take the seat of Treasurer.

Outgoing Treasurer Frank Glista will remain a member of the Committee after serving two terms, which saw the Committee raise more campaign cash than at any other point in its history.

“Frank played a critical role in helping us build the town committee,” Collette said. “He came up with great ideas to fill our campaign coffers and put his boundless energy and enthusiasm to work to turn those ideas into reality.”

In addition to Glista, the Committee’s membership includes Michael Breton, Dawne Burns, Will Collette, Regina DeAngelo, Linda Felaco, Ginger Glander, Scott Keeley, Melina Lodge, State Representative Donna Walsh and Henry Walsh.

The fifteen-member Committee was selected through the nomination and primary process last summer.

Meetings of the Charlestown Democratic Town Committee are held on the third Monday of every month, usually at the Charlestown Police Station. Any registered Democrat in Charlestown is invited to attend.
