Magaziner Wins Second Congressional District

Seth Magaziner wins 2nd Congressional District
Democrat Seth Magaziner has won the race for RI's second Congressional District against Republican Allan Fung. 

With 99% of polling places reporting, Magaziner had 99,438 votes to Fung's 92,870 -- good for 50.3% of the vote to Fung's 46.9%.

Fung, the former Mayor of Cranston, has already had two unsuccessful gubernatorial runs in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island General Treasurer Magaziner, who continued to refuse to disclose where he got an $800,000 loan to help his first campaign, is up substantially on mail ballots. 

The difference is a net of more than 8,000 in mail ballots and 6,000 in early voting.

GoLocal called the Governor's race earlier in the evening, with Democrat Dan McKee notching a substantial victory over Republican challenger Ashley Kalus. 

The Lt. Governor's race has Democrat Sabina Matos leading against GOP challenger Aaron Guckian, 52.1% to 43.1%.

Former Central Falls Mayor and Democrat James Diossa is up over Republican opponent James Lathrop 54% to 45%.
