NEW: ProCAP Director Suspended for Shredding Documents

Frank Corbishley, the Executive Director of the Providence Community Action Program (ProCAP) has been suspended after the organization's board chairman and City Council President Michael Solomon learned that he was shredding documents.

In a letter that went out to board members today, Solomon said a visit to the ProCAP offices on Hartford Ave revealed "several waste paper baskets filled with shredded materias."

The board is has an emergency meeting scheduled for Wednesday where it is expected to terminate Corbishley.
