"Pork-U-Lus" Fundraiser for GOP

Republican activist and Central Committee Member, Doreen Costa says she's motivated to drive a GOP landslide this fall. So motivated that this weekend she's playing host to a Who’s Who of the GOP at her Pork-u-lus fundraiser. 
 
“I have been involved with the GOP for several years," said Costa. "I worked on the McCain/Palin campaign, I worked on the Scott Brown campaign this winter, and I am also running for a General Assembly seat here in District 31, in North Kingstown."

“I have never been more motivated than now,” she said.

Scheduled to attend the fundraiser this weekend are RI GOP stars including:
Party Chair, Giovanni D. Cicione
Gubernatorial candidates John Robitaille and Victor Moffitt
1st Congressional candidate John Loughlin
2nd Congressional candidate Mark Zaccaria and Bill Clegg
Attorney General candidate Erik Wallin
Tea Part activist Colleen Conley

“The state and the country are a mess and it's time to get back to the stop-spending mentality," said Costa. "The GOP has always been important to me. I am a true conservative."
 
According to Costa, it is critical for the GOP to raise money to support the candidates running this year. “We have approximately 70 candidates and this is the most we have ever had," she said. "So just that being said, that should be a signal of how much the Republican candidates care about getting our beautiful state back to where it needs to be.”
