General Treasurer Gina Raimondo, who was praised for spearheading pension reform, is now coming under criticism for shifting pension funds to alternative investment and keeping the agreements with hedge funds under wraps.

Most recently, Forbes columnist Ted Siedle has posted a flurry of criticisms and questions pointed at Raimondo's shift to higher risk and less regulated investment strategies.
