The Money Race: Which State Candidates Are Winning?
The deadline for second-quarter finance reports closed yesterday and the numbers are in for how much candidates for state office have raised.
Reports filed with the state Board of Elections yesterday showed two Democrats had raised the most. Democratic candidate for governor Frank Caprio marked more than $300,000 in contributions during the second quarter and General Treasurer candidate Gina Raimondo pulled in $208,037. Independent candidate for governor Lincoln Chafee also topped the list with $139,363 in contributions.
