The September Democratic Debate Will Be One Night Only

The September Democratic debate will not be extended over two nights as was rumored -- it will be just one night.

And now there will be just ten participants.

About half of Democratic hopefuls did not qualify for the upcoming debate, making it a one-night event.

In order to qualify for the third debate, candidates had to meet polling and fundraising requirements. The first five to make the cut include Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Julián Castro, Kamala Harris and Beto O'Rourke. The remaining 5 include Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang. 

The debate will take place on September 12 in Houston, Texas
