United States Senator Jack Reed spoke to President Donald Trump's anticipated speech Tuesday night on immigration and border security. 

Reed was on hand for the announcement of Sun Country Airlines at T.F. Green on Tuesday.

"I expect to hear what we’ve heard so far — this is a campaign slogan, not a plan," said Reed. "This is about not really controlling our borders but his fascination with building a thousand-mile concrete barrier that most experts think won’t give us any significant protection."
