Warwick Mayor Avedisian Running for Re-election

Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian is running for re-election, 630 WPRO, a GoLocalProv media partner is reporting.

Avedisian will announce his run at a series of campaign kick-off events today. The mayor will be visiting the Oakland Beach Elementary School for a honor society ceremony, the WestBay Community Action Farm, and the Warwick Sewer Authority, according to 630 WPRO.

Avedisian, a Republican, has been mayor of Warwick since 2000.
