A Big Weekend On Tap For The Brown Bears
It’s shaping up to be a big weekend for Brown University athletic teams on College Hill.
It all starts Friday when the men’s and women’s basketball teams open up their 2011-2012 seasons at the Pizzatola Sports Center with a double-header. The men’s team, led by unanimous Ivy League Rookie of the Year Sean McGonagill hosts the Johnson & Wales Wildcats at 5pm. Following that game, the women’s team hosts UNH at 7:30pm.

Also Friday night, women’s ice hockey fans will get to see the Bears host Rensselaer at 7pm at Meehan Auditorium. The Bears are 1-2-2 under new head coach Amy Bourbeau.
