Brown FallsTo Princeton 80-62 on Senior Night

The Brown Bears (13-16, 4-8 Ivy) fell on senior night 80-62 to (13-14, 6-5 Ivy) Princeton on Saturday night at the Pizzitola Center. The loss snaps Brown's two game winning streak.

Princeton jumped all over Brown right from the opening tip getting out to an early 18-8 lead with 13 minutes left in the first half. The Bears battled back, cutting the deficit to just three, 18-15, but that would be the closest they would get the rest of the game.

Princeton would go on a 13-4 run to go up 31-19 and lead 43-29 at the half. The Tigers cruised to the 80-62 victory in the second half. 

Brown was led by Steven Spieth, who poured in a game high 17 points while Dockery Walker added ten for the Bears.  

Princeton was led by Steven Cook, who netted 15 points for the Tigers. 

Brown returns to action on Friday, March 6 when they visit Dartmouth. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
