Princeton jumped all over Brown right from the opening tip getting out to an early 18-8 lead with 13 minutes left in the first half. The Bears battled back, cutting the deficit to just three, 18-15, but that would be the closest they would get the rest of the game.

Brown was led by Steven Spieth, who poured in a game high 17 points while Dockery Walker added ten for the Bears.
Princeton was led by Steven Cook, who netted 15 points for the Tigers.
Brown returns to action on Friday, March 6 when they visit Dartmouth. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

Five Takeaways From Brown's 80-62 Loss To Princeton
Rafael Maia
Rafael Maia played his last game at the Pizzitola Center in a Brown Bears uniform in Saturday evenings game against Princeton.
In his final home game, Maia fell just shy of a double-double, netting nine points and pulling down nine rebounds.
Maia's nine points came on 3-of-6 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from the free throw line. .
Maia also added two blocks and an assist in the Brown loss.
Steven Spieth
Steven Spieth came off the bench in this game but only because Brown started all their seniors in their final home game.
In 30 minutes of play, Spieth netted 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, including 2-of-2 from three-point land.
Spieth also grabbed three rebounds, dished out one assist, had one steal and one blocked shot in the game.
After only having one point in Brown's last game against Penn, this was a nice bounce back for Steven Spieth.
Free throws
Rafael Maia went 3-of-6, Dockery Walker went 2-of-6 and Brown struggled from the free throw line in this game.
Overall, the Bears went 10-of-21 from the line for a free throw percentage of 47.
Tavon Blackmon, J.R. Hobie and Cedric Kuakumensah did not get to the free throw line once in the game.
Princeton shot 18-of-23 from the line in the game.
Turnovers
J.R. Hobbie had as many turnovers as he had points, 6, in this game.
Brown as a team turned the ball over 10 times and the Princeton Tigers cashed in for 16 points off those turnovers.
Meanwhile, Princeton turned the ball over nine times but Brown only cashed in for 8 points.
The points off turnover differential had a huge impact in this game.

The Brown Bears closed the Pizzitola Center with an 80-62 loss to the Princeton Tigers on Saturday night.
Brown finishes the home schedule with a record of 9-6 overall, and 3-4 in conference play.
Next weekend, Brown goes on the road to end their season with what they hope will be on a positive note by beating Dartmouth and then knocking off Harvard.
