Brown Lax Earns 1st NCAA Tourney Berth Since 2009

The Brown Bears men's lacrosse team has received an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament and will face fourth seeded Denver on Sunday, May 10 at 3 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU. 

This is Brown's first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2009 and their 13th appearance overall. 

Brown went 12-4 overall this season and 4-2 in the Ivy League, earning the number one seed in the Ivy League Tournament where they lost to Yale in the first round.

Denver is coached by former Ivy League coach Bill Tierney (Princeton) and went 13-2 on the season and won the Big East Championship. 

The winner of this game will face the winner of Ohio State and Duke in the second round.
