Brown Men's Crew Releases 2015 Schedule, Hosts 4 Time Champ Washington

Brown men's crew head coach Paul Cooke has announced the team's 2015 spring schedule. The schedule features four home events, including a home race against four-time defending IRA National Champion Washington for the first time ever.  

"We've built a schedule that gives our crews the chance to race against many of the strongest teams in the country. Four of our opponents were finalists last year at the IRA championships. The challenge for our athletes is to prepare properly," said Cooke. 

Brown will host the University of Washington on Saturday, April 4 at the Seekonk River.

Prior to Washington, Brown will kick off the spring season on Saturday, March 27 when the Bears host Ivy rival Yale on the Seekonk River. Brown hosts Boston University the following day in the annual battle for the Michalson Cup.
